First, it eschews loads of extras or required subscriptions, and focuses on being a dashcam capable of capturing exceptionally clear 4K, 60-frames-per-second video and safely saving it, even if power to the unit is interrupted.

But what really caught our eye is its companion app’s ability to use artificial intelligence to enhance blurry license plates to the point that they’re legible. At the same time, it uses AI to protect the privacy of bystanders by blurring their faces. An extremely low-power parking surveillance mode allows the camera to wake quickly if something hits the vehicle, without causing excessive battery drain.
