FAQ
Q1. How do I connect the rear camera if I purchase it separately? (For S1 4K Infinite)
The rear camera is connected to the front main unit using a dedicated rear camera cable. Since the S1 4K Infinite uses the front unit as the main system, the rear camera cannot operate independently and must be connected to the front unit for proper operation. During installation, the rear camera should be mounted near the rear windshield or rear area of the vehicle, and the cable should be routed safely along the vehicle’s interior trim.
Q2. How do I connect the interior camera if I purchase it separately? (For S1 4K Infinite)
The interior camera connects to the front main unit through the dedicated interior camera port. Like the rear camera, power supply and recording control are managed by the front unit, so the interior camera cannot operate independently and must be used together with the S1 4K Infinite front unit. Depending on the recording purpose, we recommend installing it in a position where the driver’s seat or the overall cabin interior can be clearly captured.
Q3. Can I use the rear camera and interior camera at the same time?
Yes. All S1 4K Infinite models support up to 3-channel recording (Front / Rear / Interior Camera). The product may be sold in 1CH, 2CH, or 3CH package configurations, and the rear and interior cameras can also be added later through optional purchase. If you add a camera or change the recording channel configuration, you must also update the camera usage and recording settings in the device menu for proper operation.
Q4. Can I install the cameras by myself?
Yes, if you are familiar with basic vehicle wiring and installation, self-installation is possible. However, proper cable routing, mounting position, and camera viewing angle should be carefully considered. If you are not confident with installation, we recommend seeking help from a professional installer. Especially for the rear camera, extra care is needed due to the longer cable routing required.
